EXTRA BASS enhances every beat

Sony XB402M has Dual passive radiators work together with two angled, full-range speaker units to enhance low-end tones, giving the bass a boost. A wider frequency response and high sound pressure means more of the party can feel the beat.

Angled speaker units and MRC speaker cone

Sony XB402M has 53 mm angled dynamic speaker units contribute to powerful sound pressure across a wider area. At the same time, the rigid and lightweight Mica Reinforced Cellular (MRC) speaker cone with innovative hybrid material helps to maximise performance. It not only delivers high sound pressure to a wide area but also to the front of the unit, reducing distortion to enhance vocal clarity.

Dual passive radiators

Dual passive radiators increase the speaker's low-frequency response, helping to create a deep, resonant bass sound.

Redesigned front grille with slanting holes

Slanting holes in the front grille are wider than standard holes, enabling more sound to escape — for a clearer, more powerful listening experience.

Rounded shape for minimal resonance

The speaker's rounded shape distributes vibration evenly, helping to decrease interference and minimise distortion.

Control the party from the dancefloor with the Sony | Music Center app — select your favourite playlists, cue the next song, change lighting patterns and sound modes. Sony | Music Center can only be used when Wi-Fi is connected.

Totally waterproof

With an IPX7 rating*, your speaker can be immersed in water and there'll be no problem washing it**. It's completely rustproof too, so even sea water won't damage it.

** If the surface of the system gets dirty, do not use detergent, thinner, benzine, alcohol etc. to clean it, and do not brush the system. Whether you can completely wash it off or not depends on the dirt or stain.

Thanks to the IP6X rating*, you can take your speaker to the beach, the forest, the desert or wherever you like — the SRS-XB402M will keep on playing, no matter how dusty the surface**.
